Math Night at
Science Fair Fun
We had a great night on Thursday for our annual science fair. Thanks to all the students for their hard work and for all the families that came to see all the projects.
School begins promptly at 8:30, children are welcome to enter starting at 8:20. We ask that you try to follow these times as much as possible, not dropping students off too early but also making sure they are on time. Many mornings before school we are getting things ready for the day. However, we are always happy to meet with families before school if that is requested. We also ask for anyone that enters the school to sign-in and check with the receptionist before going into the cafeteria or classrooms. We are very excited to begin another year with your students and look forward to working together to make this year a great learning experience. If you have any questions please call the school at 364-3041. See you soon!
Bus Driver: Mr. Villegas
We would like to welcome our new bus driver, Mr. Carlos Villegas to the Bobcat Family!
If you need to contact Mr. Villegas, please call the school at 364-3041 to leave a message and the school will relay the information.
A Community Focused on Learning
Double Adobe Elementary School's Mission is to provide programs to meet students' needs in a two-grade traditional classroom setting. Arizona's College and Career Standards are emphasized along with various enrichment activities. Community involvement and resources help encourage a well-rounded education for our students. We provide opportunities to develop responsible, independent and caring students.
This is a reminder for all parents and students to please use the crosswalk when entering or leaving the building. We do not want anyone to get hurt, safety first!
Cowboy Poetry Presentation
Double Adobe enjoyed listening to the traveling cowboy poets that came by our school. It was fun experience and enjoyed by all. Thanks to the Cowboy Poetry Association for including our school in your visits.
